GUD stands for Greatest Uncommon Denominator. Having reviewed the first edition of this magazine, I was pleased to see that it is still going strong two years later. I reviewed the PDF copy which, for subscribers outside of the USA, probably represents the best method of delivery. Incidentally, the PDF was very well presented and is no poor relation to the paper edition.

Basically, GUD is a literary magazine. There's about 200 pages mainly of fiction but there is also poetry and artwork. The fiction is diverse. While some of it may be Science Fiction, much of it is speculative and mainstream but with such a wide variety there seems to be something to please everyone.

For more information about the magazine, their philosophy and literary requirements, the best course of action would be to look at the website.
