Everything is perfect. The Princess has a lovely home made of marzipan and a lovely teddy that always plays with her. They live in a castle all alone with no one to bother them. The only thing the little girl doesn't like is the thing under the bed.
This story could make many a little girl who dreams of being a princess laugh in delight with a laugh as light and tuneful as a silver bell.

A beautifully illustrated short book, this is too short to be called a graphic novel but is a short story with three endings. It is mostly a pictorial, all cleanly drawn in black and white by Nate Taylor. The horrible Roald Dahl-like sting will have you chortling as long as you are not reading it to your six year-old niece who would be forever scarred by the denouement.
It's hard to describe this book so I won't. I will just say that you should not buy this for anyone very young unless you want them to grow up with odd thoughts and potentially sociopathic. On page 64, you will go ‘Aah!' and on page 66 probably 'Eurgh!'. You have been warned.
