League of Extraordinary Gentleman creator Kevin O'Neill signing TLoEG II at the Forbidden Planet superstore, Thursday 11th December '03.

No doubt smiling like the cat that's got the cream, Forbidden Planet have just announced a signing by Kevin O'Neill to promote his graphic novel The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen II.

He will be at the new Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2 H 8JR, on Thursday 11th December 2003 from 6.00pm-7.00pm.

Following the success of the first League of Extraordinary Gentleman graphic novel, artist Kevin O'Neill is at it again, mixing legend, myth, literature and pulp fantasy in a volatile cocktail where his eccentric Victorian heroes battle HG Well's martian invasion.

O'Neill is best known for his contribution to Judge Dredd and the character of Nemesis, created for the British comic magazine 2000 A.D. One of the more distinctive artists to come out of England in the last decade, his angular look has enlightened the pages of comic-books such as the ABC Warriors, Batman and The Green Lantern.

He is also the artist of the critically acclaimed Metalzoic graphic novel, and the co-creator of the cult character, Marshal Law.

In signing at the FP, Kevin is joining the assorted ranks of chaps like Arthur C Clarke, Frank Herbert, Douglas Adams, Anne McCaffrey, J. G. Ballard, Iain Banks, Larry Niven, Clive Barker, Frank Herbert, Stephen King, William Gibson, and H. R. Giger.
