Paul Barnett's The Dragons of Manhattan series is drawing to an end.

Author Paul Barnett dropped us a line to let the 'Nest know that he's just this moment posted the final episode of The Dragons of Manhattan to Blue Ear ( for publication on the site around Tuesday/Wednesday.

Shortly thereafter, there'll be a free downloadable PDF of the book available from that site. Also, a second online serialization is beginning very shortly at The Eternal Night (

The hunt is now fully afoot to find a print publisher real quick, because of the topicality of parts of the novel's satire; in theory this should have been done a while ago, but apparently some time was wasted - as oft happens - by a Hollywood agent.

However, with Al Franken, Michael Moore et al. riding high in the bestseller charts, it oughtn't to be too hard to find a buyer. Fingers crossed.
