Vinge's Peace War

Author Vernor Vinge takes pride of place in December's signings at Mysterious Galaxy.

The San Diego-based SF&F bookshop mavens over at Mysterious Galaxy have made time from celebrating their 10th anniversary year to pass on details of their author signings for December 2003.

Authors will discuss their work and host a Q&A in addition to signing books. The events are free and open to the public, but some signings require tickets, so do drop them a line before you turn up.

Friday, December 5th 2003. 7.00pm
Jeff Mariotte
Discussing: 'Angel - Solitary Man'
A "cozy" mystery lover tries to intern at Angel Investigations, while Angel and co. investigate a theft from a mission.

Jeff will also be talking about 'Star Trek: The Lost Era: Deny Thy Father' where, as Will Riker begins his Starfleet career, his estranged father is pursued by danger.

Michael Stackpole
Discussing: The Grand Crusade
Fantasy Author Michael yacks about the third instalment in the 'DragonCrown War Cycle'.

Saturday, December 27th 2003. 2.30pm
Diana Francis
Discussing: Path Of Fate
Fantasy author chats about her latest work, where a young woman's rejection of a gift from her gods has a far-reaching impact.
