Will Smith to be even more robotic that usual in new movie?
The PR gonks at 20th Century Fox have sent us some details of their new Will Smith-helmed science fiction movie: 'I, Robot' - based loosely on the classic Asimov tale of the same name.

The year is 2035. We live amongst intelligent robots of our own creation. They cook our food, fly our airplanes, watch our kids and are considered trustworthy companions as they are governed by the Three Laws of Robotics that protect us from harm.
When the seemingly impossible happens and a robot is implicated in the death of a brilliant scientist who worked at US Robotics, Detective Del Spooner (Will Smith) is brought in to investigate.
Aided by robot psychologist, Dr. Susan Calvin (Bridget Moynahan), and a humanized robot, Sonny, the trio is thrust into a thrilling race against time to uncover a suspected consipracy that threatens the existence of the human race as we know it.

It opens July 16th '04 in the USA and August 6th in the UK.
Will our William be able to get across the 3 laws of robotics to the wider world? Do they care? Only time will tell.
