>News Begins<

In case you haven't had an opportunity to visit the web site lately, we regret to announce that the publication dates for our "facsimile" reprints of JUDGMENT NIGHT by C.L. Moore and CHILDREN OF THE ATOM by Wilmar Shiras have slipped from May, to June 30th. (They'll most likely ship from our fulfillment company Pathway Book Service the week before that, but better safe than sorry.)

While we had fully expected to have books available for sale by mid-May, there were unanticipated last-minute production problems. (So goes the business of being a small publisher.) We apologize for the delay, and we hope you'll be be pleased with the final product. We hope to be able to announce additional "facsimile" reprints in time for Worldcon, in September.

We've just finished up production on new editions of David A. Kyle's three authorized sequels to E.E. "Doc" Smith's LENSMEN series: THE DRAGON LENSMAN, LENSMAN FROM RIGEL, and Z- LENSMAN, originally published in paperback by Bantam Books in the early 1980s.

Unlike our previous books, these will not be "facsimile" reprints (the original books were just cheap paperbacks, after all), but all-new editions, each with new cover art by Hugo Award- winning artist Ron Miller, and a new introduction by the Author.

These books will be available individually in paperback, but available in hardcover only as a deluxe limited-edition of 250 sets, packaged in a custom slipcase, with each enclosed book individually numbered and signed by the author. Both versions will be introduced and available first at Worldcon, and author David A. Kyle will be available at our dealers' table to sign copies of the book.

Look for further details, cover art, and excerpts on our web site in the months to come.
