Fantasy's boy wonder gets an online home and the Druids are coming.
Some book news from our chum Fleetwood Robbins over at U.S. SF/F publishing imprint Del Rey (AKA Random House).
Christopher Paolini's love of fantasy and science fiction inspired him to begin writing his debut novel, Eragon, when he graduated from high school at 15.
Now 19, he lives with his family in Montana, where he is at work on 'Eldest', the next volume in the Inheritance Trilogy. To celebrate, Random House Children's Books has launched a web site dedicated to the universe created by Paolini.

If you haven't read 'Druids' by Morgan Llywelyn (February 2004), now is the time to start. Del Rey, long an admirer of Ms Llywlen's work, has recently re-released 'Druids' in paperback and has purchased a follow-up book that they plan to release in hardcover.
The untitled new book takes off from Ainvar, the chief druid in the first book. He is a broken man from his battles with the Roman armies - but his wife, Briga, takes center stage. The story is set in the British Isles, where they have fled after Caesar's triumph in Gaul.
