Nominations are now open for the 2004 Hugo Awards (and for the Retrospective Hugo Awards for work done in 1953).

Online and paper-ballot nominations are now open for the 2004 Hugo Awards and for the Retrospective Hugo Awards for work done in 1953, both to be given at Noreascon Four this summer.

Information about the Hugo and Retrospective Hugo Awards, including an online nomination form and printable copies of the paper nomination forms, can be found on the Noreascon Four web site at

Noreascon Four has produced a booklet about the science fiction and fannish work done in 1953. You may download a PDF version of this booklet at or you may write to them at either their postal or email addresses, and they will be happy to send you one.

In order to nominate, you must be a Supporting or Attending member of Noreascon Four by January 31, 2004 (see to join the convention now), or you must have been a member of Torcon 3, the 2003 Worldcon in Toronto.

Only Noreascon Four members will be eligible to vote in the final ballot, which is scheduled for release in April 2004.
