The Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame gets a new web site.
New museum, new URL and new web site seem to be the order of the day over in Seattle.
If you check out sfhomeworld.org you'll see where some of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's loot is ending up these days. And very worthily spent too.
The new site covers the museum's exhibits and a whole range of related SFF stuff. There's also details of its very extensive events calendar.
For instance, 'The Physics of Star Trek with Lawrence Krauss' this Friday. Where physicist and member of the SFM Advisory Board Lawrence Krauss aims to guide punters through the Star Trek universe, which he uses as a launching pad to offer a glimpse into the world of modern physics.
Through the use of slides, props and video clips, as well as wit and charm, Krauss plans to deal with topics ranging from time travel to warp speed, from the Big Bang to the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence.
You go, Lawrence.
