Scientists, bestselling authors of The Science Of Discworld and novelists Ian Stewart and Jack Cohen have joined the John Jarrold Literary Agency, for representation of their jointly-written novels.

Professor Stewart is Professor of Mathematics at Warwick University, and is the author of over 60 books on popular science. Professor Cohen is a highly respected reproductive biologist, who also teaches at Warwick and appears regularly on British television science programmes.

Their previous novels, Wheelers and Heaven, have been praised by bestselling SF novelists including Stephen Baxter, David Brin, Larry Niven and Gregory Benford.

'I'm very pleased to welcome Ian and Jack to the agency,' said Jarrold. 'Science fiction is booming in the UK, with a number of very different writers having come to the fore in the last five or six years. Their backgrounds and flair make them perfect writers for this exciting time in the genre. And the concepts behind their forthcoming novels are universe-wide!'

All projects other than their novels are dealt with separately, outside the Jarrold Agency.
