The Xatafi Cultural Association announces the winners for the Xatafi-Cyberdark Prize by Critics of Fantastic Literature, awarded to the best works of fantastic, science-fiction and horror literature published in Spain in 2005 according to a board's discretion.

And those winners are ...

National (Spanish) novel:
"Danza de Tinieblas", by Eduardo Vaquerizo.

Foreign novel:
"Nunca me abandones" ("Never let me go"), by Kazuo Ishiguro.

National (Spanish) short story:
Lorenzo Luengo, "La cotorra de Humboldt", in Artifex Tercera Época 1.

Foreign short story:
Mike Resnick, "He tocado el cielo" ("For I Have Touched the Sky"), in
Gigamesh 42.

Editorial initiative:
Gigamesh, for "Cuentos completos de ciencia ficción" by Fredric Brown.
