The sequel to John Ringo's sci-fi novel Cally's War features the return of Michelle O'Neal, the first human-Sohon mentat. Sister Time (Baen Books-December 2007) is about life, love and covert operations amongst the universe's ultimate dysfunctional family.
Cally O'Neal is officially dead. In her over forty years of being an active secret agent she hasn't used her real name, much less spoken to her sister. So when Michelle interrupts an important mission, by seemingly appearing out of thin air, it's an unexpected reunion. And leads to unexpected consequences throughout the galaxy, including not only battles with hand-held weapons, but the deployment of the deadliest machine ever invented by alien or human.
A veteran of the 82nd Airborne, author John Ringo brings first-hand knowledge of military operations to his fiction.
Co-author Julie Cochrane (also co-scribe in Cally's War) was born in Ohio, and earned her degree in psychology from Georgia Tech. Her hobbies include pistol marksmanship, history, criminology, Irish language, and folk music - a varied combination that informs the development in the female characters of these novels.
