Science fiction agent to the stars John Jarrold has concluded a good five-figure deal with Christian Dunn of Solaris for UK and US rights in three novels by British SF writer Eric Brown, following the company’s publication of the author’s latest novel, Helix, earlier this year.

These three books, provisionally titled PSICHOPATH, XENOPATH and NECROPATH, feature Jeff Vaughan, a telepath employed by the spaceport on Bengal Station, a vast twenty-level city-port situated in the Bay of Bengal mid-point between India and Burma.

As part of a security team working against terrorists and other undesirables, he reads the minds of visitors to Earth.

The first novel follows Vaughan on the trail of a mysterious religious sect, a serial killer, and a soul-sucking alien life-form secreted on the Station, and will be published in the spring of 2009.
