Fantasy Diana Wynne Jones will be signing her new book House Of Many Ways (the sequel to Howl's Moving Castle) at The Forbidden Planet Megastore Bristol, Unit 4, Clifton Heights, Bristol, BS8 1ED, on 1-2pm Saturday 5th July 2008.

Diana Wynne Jones has been writing fantasy novels for over 30 years. Director and animator Hayao Miyazaki adapted Diana’s book, Howl's Moving Castle into a movie in 2004, and it was nominated for an Academy Award.

House Of Many Ways is the sequel to Howl's Moving Castle. Charmain Baker is looking after Great Uncle William's tiny cottage while he's ill and it should have been easy, but his house bends space and time. Its single door leads to any number of places - the bedrooms, the kitchen, the caves under the mountains, and the past.

Having opened that door, Charmain encounters an extremely magical stray dog, a muddled young apprentice wizard, a box of the king's most treasured documents and an intimidating sorceress named Sophie. And where Sophie is, can the Wizard Howl and fire demon Calcifer be far behind?
