Tonight's BBC Children in Need appeal TV show is to feature a new preview of the forthcoming Doctor Who 2009 Christmas Special.

The clip, from The End Of Time: Part One, is never-seen-before footage and will keep fans all over the globe wondering what's in store for the Doctor as David Tennant departs and Matt Smith becomes the 11th Doctor.

The two-minute teaser will be broadcast as part of the BBC Children in Need show tonight (Friday 20th November 2009), BBC One at 7.00pm.

David Tennant told SFcrowsnest.com, "Doctor Who has always been a big supporter of Children in Need. We're really pleased that this year our very special Christmas story is being exclusively previewed on the show. Doctor Who fans are always very generous – I hope you will be too.
