Buy Highlander in the USA - or Buy Highlander in the UK

Director Justin Lin and producer Neal Moritz get together with the two Iron Man writers Marcum and Holloway to prove that actually, there there can be only one (more). Yep. Highlander is coming back to the big screens for a reboot. In 2008 Summit purchased the rights to remake the movie from Davis Panzer Productions, Inc.

Summit Entertainment is tapping the Fast and Furious team of director Justin Lin and producer Neal H. Moritz to direct and produce the Highlander reboot

Summit's film will, we are told, expand on the original Highlander's core mythology of immortals battling amongst us, hunting each other through the ages.
In Highlander Rebirth, after centuries of duelling to survive against others like him, Connor MacLeod, an immortal Scottish swordsman must confront the last of his kind, a murderously brutal barbarian, who lusts for the fabled Prize.
As well as the Fast and Furious, Neal Moritz has produced various sci-fi films including the upcoming Flash Gordon reboot and The Green Hornet, as well as I Am Legend II.
Patrick Wachsberger at Summit told the Nest, "We are privileged to have this amazing opportunity to reinvent one of the great franchises. Neal and Justin have proven more than once that they can deliver an entertaining and exciting blockbuster."
