Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of scifi and fantasy authors bursting onto the scene in the past decade. Top authors are better known, of course, but the beauty of science fiction and fantasy is in the variety and full spectrum of the sub-genres, topics, and styles offered.

The Ultimate Guide to Modern Writers of Fantastic Literature is a searchable database, aiming to publish genre reviews while each writer's entry contains a link to a related site on the internet that includes 2,000 currently active, new and promising writers in science fiction, fantasy, horror, young adult and slipstream (magic realism) - tagged by sub-genre, awards, recommendations, and year of achieving prominence in the field.

It's in a Google spreadsheet thingy too.
