First big trailer for the fantasy/horror film Season of the Witch, in which Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman play knights escorting a possible witch to trial for the crime of releasing the black plague.

And here was me thinking the black plague was down to fleas on rats. Ho hum. Looks like silly fun though, as the forces of darkness gird their loins to make sure the witch (played by Claire Foy) never makes it to trial.

Just to give it that Hammer Movie feel, Christopher Lee plays the dubious Cardinal D’Ambroise. You know your mission is in trouble when Christopher Lee - aka Count Dooku and Saruman - is your local priest giving the orders!
