Here's a nice little featurette on the next Mission: Impossible movie, Ghost Protocol. Did Ethan Hunt's team really try to start a nuclear war between Russia and the USA? What do you think...

Tom Cruise reprises his role as IMF Agent Ethan Hunt, and the film is produced by Cruise himself, as well as J. J. Abrams and Bryan Burk (also the movie's director).

When a terrorist attack blows up the Kremlin, the US government initiates its "Ghost Protocol" and disavows the entire Impossible Mission Force, who are supposedly behind the assault on Russia.

Ethan Hunt and his team are permitted to escape to allow them to operate outside of CIA control as a black bag unit. Ethan is forced to work with ex-IMF agent Brandt, who knows more about Hunt and his past than even Hunt himself realises (ohhh, twists).
