Big Man Japan movie, big in America?
10/06/2011. Columbia Pictures is going to remake the scifi comedy movie Big Man Japan, which will be made into a new feature film by Neal H. Moritz through his Original Film banner, SFcrowsnest has been told by Hannah Minghella at Columbia. Big Man Japan was a local hit in Japan in 2007 and a cult in the United States in 2009.

Pratchett first novel prize: 2 winners announced
02/06/2011. Sir Terry Pratchett and Transworld Publishers launched a new award for aspiring debut novelists in June last year, the Terry Pratchett Anywhere But Here, Anywhen But Now Prize. There are now not one, but two winners for the prize.
