can to encourage writers and artists to produce it. To this end, they host an annual SF convention in the Maryland area - Balticon. Columbia University Science Fiction Society (CUSFS) | Stalwart band of devoted science fiction enthusiasts who actively maintain a large multimedia sci-fi library in New York. Denver Area Science Fiction Association | DASFA, founded in 1968, is a group of science fiction and fantasy fans in Denver that has conducted meetings and fannish events continuously over the past 30 years. Denver Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Club | Science fiction and fantasy book reading group. They meet at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore near Park Meadows Mall in southeast suburban Denver (U.S). Site is well done. Dublin University Science Fiction Society | Apparently this club has a very nice room. Good reason to join, I suppose. Fantek | Washington DC-based club. Friends of Science Fiction | Friends of Science Fiction (FSF) was established in January 1996, and is Australia's largest general science fiction fan club. Garden State Science Fiction Conspiracy (GSSFC) | A social group of New Jersey science fiction fans. Genesis Sci-F Club | Hampshire and Berkshire-based club which covers SF and cult TV. Hull SF Group | The Hull SF Group was set up in 1988 to bring together people interested in speculative fiction/science fiction. Kansas City Science Fiction and Fantasy Society | Created in 1971 to foster interest in science fiction and fantasy. KaCSFFS has monthly meetings, sponsors the ConQuesT science fiction convention, will host the 2003 World Horror Convention, co-founded the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame and offers activities such as bowling, charity work, group dinners and movie previews. Lexx Fan Club | The Official Lexx Fan Club is run by, and dedicated to, the fans of Lexx. This fan club is approved by The Supreme Beans.
Little Rock Science Fiction Society | The LRSFS has been the focal point of science fiction fandom for all of central Arkansas, Since 1975. Los Angeles SF Society | This world's oldest club for enthusiasts of fantastic literature, meets every Thursday night (come Hell, high water, or holidays) in Freehafer Hall, one of the buildings on the group's own property. Melbourne SF Club | MSFC is Australia's oldest science fiction club, and the only open club in Melbourne to welcome members with a broad range of SF interests. Mindbridge Foundation | SF club located in the Iowa City area. MIT Science Fiction Society (MITSFS) | The world's largest open-shelf collection of science fiction is the MIT Science

They are located in the Boston metropolitan area. OASFIS | The Orlando Area Science Fiction Society is a fan-run, not-for-profit corporation whose goal is the promotion of Science Fiction in all its forms Philadelphia Science Fiction Society | One of the oldest General SF Clubs in the world, and puts on Philcon annually. Polaris | The St.Albans Science Fiction Society. They meet up monthly to chat and have a drink or two - just like Cheers. Rochester Fantasy Fans | Rochester USA-based social group for people who have interest in SFF. SciFi Montreal | Linking science fiction fans from Montreal, the world and beyond. Swarthmore Warders of Imaginative Literature (SWIL) | The SF club at Swarthmore College. Swarthmore Warders of Imaginative Literature (SWIL) | Swarthmore college SF/F society. TASC | Club site for the Telefantasy Appreciation Society of Canada. The Chimera Archive | Archives two decades of sf fandom at UNC-Chapel Hill with interviews, newspaper articles, photographs, artwork and more. The Cincinnati Fantasy Group (CFG) | The Cincinnati Fantasy Group (CFG) and its less-organized precursors have been home to greater Cincinnati science fiction fandom since 1935. They sponsor two conventions each year: Midwestcon, held the last full weekend in June, and Octocon, held the 2nd last (or last) full weekend in October. The Gunderson Corporation Science Fiction Comedy Theatre | An amateur Science Fiction comedy group that performs original skits in the manner of a 1940s radio play, including a feverishly working Sound Effects Master live on stage. The Minnesota society for Interest in Science FictIon and fanTaSy (MISFITS) | A forum and foundation of celebrating diversity and works to promote the appreciation of, and interest in, Science Fiction and Fantasy.

The United Federation of Phoenix | US Southwest's oldest Star Trek and SF fan organization (operating since 1975).
