Paul Barnett's The Dragons of Manhattan series is drawing to an end. Author Paul Barnett dropped us a line to let the 'Nest know that he's just this moment posted the final episode of The Dragons of Manhattan to Blue Ear (www.blueear.com) for publication on the site around Tuesday/Wednesday.
Shortly thereafter, there'll be a free downloadable PDF of the book available from that site. Also, a second online serialization is beginning very shortly at The Eternal Night (www.eternalnight.co.uk).
The hunt is now fully afoot to find a print publisher real quick, because of the topicality of parts of the novel's satire; in theory this should have been done a while ago, but apparently some time was wasted - as oft happens - by a Hollywood agent.
However, with Al Franken, Michael Moore et al. riding high in the bestseller charts, it oughtn't to be too hard to find a buyer. Fingers crossed.
