Predator Terminated 18/08/2003 . Source: Jessica Martin
All Schwarzenegger's movies zapped off the SciFi Channel. Two television channels - FX and the SciFi Channel - have decided to pull all films starring Arnold Schwarzenegger until at the very least, the recall election day on October 7th 2003. Now that's what we call 'total' recall.
Apparently the brass at both channels were concerned they might get slapped by the US's federal laws which mandates the fair distribution of air time between political candidates.
It's an interesting point of political philosophy that the SciFi Channel's film schedule of such classics as Conan the Barbarian, Predator and Total Recall might be considered free political advertising for our Arnie.
In reality, the carott-chomping free 'lovin denizens of California might find that having their cigerette-free airspace being invaded by a well oiled loin-clothed Arnie waving an axe the size of a small windmill, muttering such gems as 'you killed my family so now you too are killed', isn't as effective a vote collector as might first be thought.
