Jasper Fforde, author of the novel something rotten, is interviewed on October '04's Fast Forward episode. Author Jasper Fforde is the featured interview on this month's episode of Fast Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction. Fforde talks about his latest novel, Something Rotten, as well as his writing style, future projects, and croquet.
In conversation with host Tom Schaad, Fforde also discusses his elaborate web site and on-line fan forum. According to Fforde, "I tend to regard the web site not only as entertainment and after-sales service ... but also like a big R & D lab for ideas." The October episode of Fast Forward also features Colleen Cahill's review of Susanna Clarke's novel Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.

Fast Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction is a monthly half-hour television series about the genres of science fiction, fantasy and horror.
