Winners of the Southeastern Science Fiction Achievement Awards announced. The online science fiction magazine scifidimensions has just announced the winners of the 2004 Southeastern Science Fiction Achievement Award (aka the SESFAs).
Lifetime Achievement Joe Haldeman
Best Novel of 2003 Hyperthought by M. M. Buckner (Ace Books)
Best Short Fiction of 2003 "The Door Gunner" by Michael Bishop (The Silver Gryphon, Golden Gryphon Press)
Winners will receive a framed certificate featuring artwork by Dan Henderson.
The SESFA Awards are designed to honor accomplishment in science fiction, fantasy or horror by individuals born or living in the Southern United States. They are a fan-based award selected by participants who pay a small membership fee, and is administered under the auspices of the online science fiction magazine scifidimensions.
