The second issue of Virtual Worlds (Lumi Virtuale), the Romanian magazine of science fiction, hits the streets. The second issue of editor Michael Haulica's magazine, Lumi Virtuale (Virtual Worlds), the Romanian magazine of science fiction has come out for Summer 2004.
Content - only in Romanian - includes: "Touching Fire", a story by Nicola Griffith, an interview with Romanian writer Caius Dobrescu, stories by valANTIm, Silviu Genescu, Liviu Radu (the Encouragement Award at Eurocon 2000), Bogdan Gheorghiu (the youngest Romanian Sf writer, he had published his first book in 2003, when he was 16 years old), and Marian Coman.
There are reviews and essays by Radu Pavel Gheo, Catalin Badea-Gheracostea, Michael Haulica ("Eyes of Truth" by Linda Suzane), Mircea Pricajan (Stephen King's "Dreamcatcher"), Florin Pitea ("The Scar" by China Mieville) and an essay about William Gibson's early books), as well as a column about computer games by Eduard Pandele.
