Mars in Pictures

NASA artists imagine how their planned Mars base will look. Got a Mars base pictures tip-off courtesy of 'Nest reader and space agency worker Jerry Booth (ta Jez).
If you surf on over to http://www.spaceflight.nasa.gov/gallery/images/mars/ and use the selectors down the right-hand side of the screen, you can check out some fairly amazing static illustrations as well as videos of some of the concept stuff going on for the first manned Mars missions.
Our take? It'll be great if it happens. Bet it don't though - not for many years, at least.
