Riddick gets Cartoon series

Pitch Black follow-up movie gets its own cartoon series, a la the Animatrix. Hotting up the market for a live action movie with a DVD cartoon series was trail-blazed by the last two Matrix films with the Animatrix. Well, the crew behind the new Pitch Black sequel have been paying attention and followed suit, with 'The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury'.
In this toon vision of the Riddick universe, Riddick is captured by bounty hunters and must battle soldiers of fortune and aliens in the slaughter cells of a large starship.
Riddick's night vision and combat skills are all that stand between him and a fate worse than death in this tale that bridges the stories of Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick.
Artist Peter Chung - The Animatrix, Matriculated; Ĉon Flux, and Star Wars Clone Wars production illustrator - is the creator of the new cartoon, and he tipped us off about the location of a long and secret streaming multimedia preview of the new DVD.
