The New Darth Vader? 27/05/2004 . Source: Jessica Martin
Next Star Wars movie gets its baddie, the E.T. cyborg 'General Grievous'. Every Star Wars movie has its new line-up of hitters for the forces of darkness. Whether it be Darth Maul, Count Dooku - whose name always sounded to us like a character from Fraggle Rock - or even Boba Fett's dad.
Well, the new, as yet un-named Star Wars movie follow-on to 'The Clone Wars' now has its main new bad hat. Enter ... General Grievous. Or as he is fondly known by his troops, 'Grievous Bodily Harm'.
Said military commander for the Emperor-in-waiting is an alien cyborg, wounded in so many battles that he - it? - is now more machine than man (or should that be, alien).
The General has had previous bit-parts in the Clone Wars cartoon series running in the USA, will be a 100% CGI creation for the last of the Star Wars movies, and has yet to have a 'voice' actor assigned to the part.
Perhaps they could consider the Nest's own Uncle Geoff for the part of the voice. After downing a few Taunton ciders, the timbre of his voice definitely drifts towards the Dark Side, IOHO.
