Romanian SF Comes of Age 06/05/2004 . Source: Jessica Martin
New science fiction mag launches in Romania. Michael Haulica, editor of Lumi Virtuale (Virtual Worlds), the new Romanian magazine of science fiction, has kindly dropped us a line about the first issue of their print edition (April-May 2004).
The content is only in Romanian and includes an interview with Walter Jon Williams, the Hugo awarded story "The Dog Said Bow-wow" by Michael Swanwick, stories by Romanian writers Danut Ivanescu, Florin Pitea and Catalin Sandu.
There's also reviews and essays by Catalin Badea-Gheracostea, Liviu Radu, Florin Pitea, Dan Dobos, Sebastian A. Corn, a film column by Mihai Chirilov, and a column about computer games by Eduard Pandele.
The cover is by illustrator Ona Frantz.
