New Roof for the Clarkes 16/04/2004 . Source: Jessica Martin
Good news. The Clarke Award's search for a new home is over. Paul Kincaid, Administrator of the Arthur C. Clarke Award, dropped us this note.
"I am delighted to announce that the date and venue for the 2004 Arthur C. Clarke Award has now been confirmed. The Award Ceremony will take place on Wednesday 12th May. The venue is The English Heritage Lecture Theatre, New Burlington Place, London. This is a superb venue right in the heart of London with excellent facilities that suit our needs perfectly. And we're hoping to make this year's ceremony better than ever. However, space is limited so entry is strictly by invitation only (invitations will be going out in the next couple of weeks)."
The genre owes a big debt to Paul in his struggles to keep this excellent Award going after his old funding sources got nixed. More power to his elbow.
