Bishop and her Etchings 06/04/2004 . Source: Jessica Martin
Author K.J. Bishop wins the Crawford Award for 'The Etched City'. Our old chum K.J. Bishop has just won the Crawford Award for her rather arty novel 'The Etched City'.
The William L. Crawford Award for Best New Fantasy Novelist is awarded each year by the IAFA at the ICFA conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, US of A. The novel is also currently shortlisted for the IHG, Aurealis and Ditmar awards.
'The Etched City' is available in the US from Prime Books, and in the UK from Tor UK. Apparently, Bantam Spectra should also be releasing another US edition late this year.
You go, K.J.
