He is the, err, Law?
28/01/2004 Source: Jessica Martin

Forget Judge Dredd. Heck, Forget Judge John Deed. Here comes ... Judge John Clute.

Can it be true?

Yes indeed, John Clute, the critic whose life-long mission has been to put the 'Lit' back into SFF has just been announced as leading the charge of those nominated as Judges for the 2004 World Fantasy Awards.

Pity the poor hack that has to tremble in front of this panel of SFF worthies. Could the 2004 World Fantasy Awards be the new 'Pop Idol'? Only time will tell.

The line up for this year's arbiters of wisdom runs as follows...

- John Clute

- Alain Nevant

- Sherwood Smith

- Michael A. Stackpole

- Scott Wyatt

More details as we get them.
