A Night at the Space Opera
19/01/2004 Source: Jessica Martin

Jack Williamson is joined by authors Frederik Pohl and Robert Silverberg for the March '04 Williamson Lectureship.

The Jack Williamson Lectureship Committee has just announced details for the 28th Annual Williamson Lectureship on March 11th, 2004 on their campus at Eastern New Mexico University.

This year's theme is 'Space Opera - Then and Now'.

The event honors Emeritus Professor of English Dr. Jack Williamson, science fiction author of such classics as the Legion of Space series.

You can even join Jack and the Lectureship's guests, authors Frederik Pohl and Robert Silverberg, for luncheon on Thursday, March 11th.

The panel presentation by the authors is at 7.00 p.m. in the Buchanan Hall of ENMU's Music Building. The evening presentation is free and open to the public, while luncheon attendees are asked to make their reservations by March 9, 2004.

The $7.00 cost for lunch is payable at the door. To reserve your place for lunch or for additional information, you can contact Patrice Caldwell in the US at 505-562-2315 or e-mail her at Patrice.Caldwell@enmu.edu

Patrice, if the 'Nest team weren't a couple of thousand miles away, we'd just love to come on over.
