Hanging with the SFF authors 11/12/2004 . Source: Jessica Martin
Guest author sessions are now being hosted by novelist Marianne de Pierres on an open BBS. Every week, you can settle in for a freewheeling Q&A session with some of your favorite genre authors. Get advice and encouragement from some of the best writers around; participating authors have generously agreed to take time away from their writing to answer questions, and share what worked for them. For free.
The first class is now in session with Margo Lanagan - others to follow.
Margo Lanagan has published poetry, YA novels and short stories for science fiction, fantasy and horror fans. Her books have been Aurealis Award winners, and been shortlisted for the Ditmar Awards and the New South Wales and Queensland Premier's Literary Awards. Her short-story collection "Black Juice" won a Victorian Premier's Literary Award, and stories from previous collection, "White Time," were selected for inclusion in several Year's Best (and in one case, half-century's best) anthologies. Lanagan lives in Sydney, Australia.
Marianne de Pierres is the author of the Parrish Plessis series. Her short stories have appeared in anthologies alongside works by Harlan Ellison, Gene Wolfe, Jack Williamson and Terry Dowling.
