SFF in Faringdon
13/12/2004 Source: Jessica Martin

The Faringdon Arts Festival announces a string of SFF writers attending, including the elusive Brian Aldiss.

Faringdon Arts Festival runs every year in the British Oxfordshire town of Faringdon, between Oxford and Swindon. In 2005, their dates are 4-10 July, and on Saturday 9th July they are playing host to three SF and fantasy authors.

Running a half-day workshop on How To Write A Novel (£10 fee, limited to 20 places), is Juliet E. McKenna; talking about her work will be Gwyneth Jones; and headlining their literary strand, in a rare public appearance, will be Brian Aldiss.

Both authors admission free, and will not run at the same time as Juliet's workshop. Their website is promised to be up and running shortly.

In the meantime, for more information, or to book for Juliet's workshop, contact Paul Cornell at paulcornell@owlservice.freeserve.co.uk
