Warhammer in Winter

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault - hits the streets for SF computer game fans. THQ Inc. and Relic Entertainment have announced the expansion pack to their real-time strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. Featuring a single player experience and more Dawn of War action, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault will also include a brand new, fifth race - The Imperial Guard.
Based on the world of Warhammer 40,000 - the dark, futuristic, fantasy universe from Games Workshop, the game is scheduled to release in the autumn of 2005.
"The response to Dawn of War has been overwhelming," said Ron Moravek, general manager, Relic Entertainment. "Combining the enthusiasm we're seeing from the fans with the ability to draw from the seemingly endless, rich content from the Warhammer 40,000 universe made the decision to create an expansion easy. We look forward to building on the Dawn of War franchise with even more visceral combat action throughout both the single and multi-player experiences."
