Conviser picked up by Del Rey 08/02/2005 . Source: Jessica Martin
Debut novelist Josh Conviser's sci-fi thriller ECHELON will be published by Del Rey in Spring 2006. ECHELON introduces Ryan Laing, an agent of information network Echelon, one that in the future comes to monitor and control worldwide events.
As control over Echelon is breached, Laing must work in and out of 'the flow' - the hyper-reality in which digital information and human consciousness meet - in order to avert a hostile takeover of Echelon and the dominance of human will it would represent.
A sequel is also in the works.
Alan Dean Foster has also signed with Del Rey for two new Pip & Flinx adventures. Go you mad flying snake-thing, go.
