Wildside buys for March 2005 04/03/2005 . Source: Jessica Martin 
SFF book imprint Wildside Press report on their latest acquisitions. Theodora Goss has sold to Sean Wallace at Prime Books a full-length short story collection, 'Stories from the Threshold' (tentative), with a hardcover release scheduled for late Fall 2005 or early 2006. The contents will include such stories as "The Rose in Twelve Petals," "The Rapid Advance of Sorrow," "Lily, With Clouds," "In the Forest of Forgetting," "Sleeping With Bears" and many more, with an introduction by Terri Windling and cover by Virginia Lee.
Catherynne M. Valente has sold to Sean Wallace at Prime Books her third novel, 'The Grass-Cutting Sword', for a hardcover release at Readercon (July 2005) and at aegis, 'Oracles: A Pilgrimage', a small chapbook, for April 2005.
Ben Peek has sold to Sean Wallace at Prime Books his first novel, 'Black Sheep', with hardcover and paperback releases scheduled for early 2006.
Paul Haines has sold to Sean Wallace at Prime Books his first full-length collection, 'Doorways for the Dispossessed', with hardcover and paperback releases scheduled for late 2005 / early 2006.
Lee Battersby has sold to Sean Wallace at Prime Books his first full-length collection, 'The Divergence Tree', with hardcover and paperback releases scheduled for late 2005.
Rhys Hughes has resold his first short story collection, 'Worming the Harpy', to Sean Wallace at Prime Books, for a ten-year anniversary hardcover / paperback release in late 2005.
Leonore H. Dvorkin has sold to John Betancourt at Wildside Press her first nonfiction book, 'Why I'm Glad I Had Breast Cancer', for a hardcover / paperback release in mid-summer 2005, with a Spanish edition planned for late 2005.
Tanith Lee has sold to John Betancourt at Wildside Press two volumes of best-of short story collections, 'The Selected Stories of Tanith Lee, Volume One: Tempting the Gods' and 'The Selected Stories of Tanith Lee, Volume Two: Hunting the Shadows', scheduled respectively for hardcover releases in early and late Fall of 2005.
Tom Easton and Shane Tourtellotte have sold to John Betancourt and Sean Wallace at Wildside Press, 'Hal's Worlds', a memorial volume of essays, remembrances and stories, for an early July 2005 release. 'Hal's Worlds' contains something for everybody, from such authors and friends as Ben Bova, Allen Steele, Walter H. Hunt (an original story), Jeffrey Carver, Michael Swanwick, Stanley Schmidt, Jack Williamson, and many more, including a previously-uncollected Hal Clement story, and a word from his wife, Mary Stubbs. Royalties will be going to two charities, Milton Academy, the school where Harry taught science for thirty-eight years, and the Joslin Diabetes Center.
