Light side of the moon? 06/03/2005 . Source: Jessica Martin
Apparently SF author Elizabeth Moon had been out and about in Kansas City speaking to various community groups about her novel The Speed of Dark. Well, the same book has just been chosen as the 2005 Summer Reading program for the State University of New York - Oneonta.
All 7000 students and faculty will be reading, and when they get back in the fall they'll be doing lectures and exhibits and performing arts pieces and the like related to the book.
Elizabeth Moon will do a one-week Writer in Residency as well. This is the third time the novel has been selected for a program of this sort.
