R2-D2 and C-3PO hate each other 18/05/2005 . Source: Jessica Martin
He (C-3PO) looked down his nose at me like I was a piece of shit, R2-D2 actor Kenny Baker says in an interview. Buy Star Wars in the USA - or Buy Star Wars in the UK What a smashing interview in today's issue of the Metro newspaper in London.
R2-D2 actor Kenny Baker, who also did a very good turn in Time Bandits, tells of his hand to mouth existence living entirely off Star Wars conventions.
He also dished the dirt on the behind the scenes animosities of the Star Wars set, complaining of how most the actors are "taken for a ride" and don't get any royalties from DVD sales and the like.
Kenny then went on to complain that C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels is allegedly "awkward" and has refused four times to help Kenny out by appearing at events as a droid double act.
Kenny said in the interview, "He looked down his nose at me like I was a piece of shit. He said: 'I don't do many of those conventions - go away little man.' He really degraded me and made me feel small."
