Crawling for SFF art 17/06/2005 . Source: Jessica Martin
The DragonCon 2005 convention in the USA is introducing an Art Crawl. The Art Crawl is a chance for Dragon*Con attendees to meet great artists and see their art in a more intimate setting. Built upon the same premise as a studio crawl, (Where visitors walk from studio to studio to meet artists and see their wares), Dragon*Con guests will be guided from one participating artist's room in the Marriott Marquis to the next!
They hope to have two artists showing per room. Tours will be held. Sixty posters and one thousand half page flyers will be distributed throughout the convention.
In addition to being open every day of the con from 4pm to 10pm. a fancy-dress wine and cheese reception will be held Saturday night from 8pm to 10pm. Door prizes will be given. They are currently accepting artists to be part of the Art Crawl.
