The big Star Trek poll

With Star Trek: Enterprise over and the 40th Anniversary of Star Trek fast approaching, Star Trek Magazine have launched a Star Trek Poll of Polls. Who's the Best Captain? Who's your favourite character? Your favourite villain? Which episode of Star Trek is up there with the best science fiction television can offer? This is your chance to let them know. Buy Star Trek in the USA - or Buy Star Trek in the UK  Many of the items on this poll are write in entries. So if your favourite Captain is actually Rachel Garrett - well, go ahead!
All entries must be sent in by Thursday 18th August 2005. As an added inducement, one lucky pollster will win a Star Trek limited edition toaster (it toasts your bread and emblazons it with a Federation logo!), and they have several spaceship models to give away, too.
Editor John Freeman had reported a good response. There's no clear favourites as yet, but Mirror, Mirror does seem to have an early lead as favourite Star Trek: The Original Series episode, and there are plenty of fans out there keen to see Star Trek: The Animated Series released on DVD.
