Those aurally-inclined will enjoy the hi-fi format, best described as a movie in sound. Fully acted, with electronic music and special effects, the listener is immersed in an active listening experience.

"Sci-Fi fans want more than a traditional audio book," says Dieter Zimmermann of Protophonic. "With mp3 players now mainstream, there will always be a market for good story-telling combined with good audio. Why shouldn't we enjoy that huge part of our brains hardwired for sound? You can't watch a movie while walking down the street or driving a car, but you could listen to a movie - no problem."

The second Brad Lansky adventure, The Alien Engineer will be released in early 2006.

One Audio CD with a four page booklet and full color CD label. ISBN 0976045907, Price $9.95, Runtime 57 minutes.

J.D.Venne studied electrical engineering and music and has always been interested in science fiction. He currently resides in New York City where he experiments with the intersection of SF, sound and electronic music.
