Steven Erikson is going to be making a rare visit to the UK at the end of this month as guest of honour at the British Fantasycon. Steven Erikson, author of the Malazan Book Of The Fallen fantasy sequence, is going to be making a rare visit to the UK at the end of this month. He has accepted the British Fantasy Society's invitation to be one of this year's Guests of Honour at the Society's FantasyCon.
Held 30th September through 2nd October 2005 in Walsall, Steve will be joining fellow Guests of Honour, Mark Chadbourn and Simon Clark.
Gardens Of The Moon, the first chapter in the Malazan sequence, was nominated for a World Fantasy Award. The sixth book in the Malazan series - The Bonehunters - is published by Bantam Press in February 2006.
