Issue 2 of Farmerphile hits the streets

Farmerphile is a quarterly digest devoted to making available previously unpublished writings by Hugo Award-winning science fiction author and SFWA Grand Master Philip José Farmer. The October 2005 issue of Farmerphile features the first-time publication of two items from the literary treasure vaults of Philip José Farmer: "The Unnaturals," an Oz pastiche like none other from the author of A Barnstormer in Oz; and the second serialized installment of Up from the Bottomless Pit, Farmer's "lost" novel about the ultimate ecological disaster in the oil industry (if you missed the first installment in Issue No. 1, back issues are still available for a limited time).
Also in this issue: Bette Farmer recalls hilarious encounters with some of the greatest authors of science fiction. The noted French pulp and science fiction authority Jean-Marc Lofficier takes a scholarly look at the parallel careers of PJF and J.H. Rosny.
Christopher Paul Carey examines "The Unnaturals" and shows that just like most of PJF's work, there is more to this story than meets the eye. Jason Robert Bell provides insight into the creation of the first stage production of Farmer's most shocking novel, A Feast Unknown.
Paul Spiteri jumps fifteen billion years into the future to examine the richly fascinating world of Dark Is the Sun. And Win Scott Eckert reveals how Farmer's Wold Newton family gave birth to a Universe. Plus details on how you may enter a contest to complete Philip José Farmer's unfinished Ralph von Wau Wau story, "Who Stole Stonehenge?" Rounding out the issue is the fantastic artwork of Jason Robert Bell, Keith Howell, and Karl Kauffman.
