British Fantasy Society gets short

The British Fantasy Society has announced their short story competion for 2006.

This year celebrates the 35th anniversary of the BFS and the 30th anniversary of Fantasycon.

Entries:
Fantasy/Dark Fantasy, Horror or Science Fiction with an anniversary theme

Special Guest Judges:
Chaz Brenchley, Stephen Gallagher and Chris Fowler.

First Prize:
£50, Engraved Award and publication in Dark Horizons.

Second Prize: £25 and publication in dark Horizons

Entry fees:
FREE to BFS members (you can join here) or £5 per story to non members.

Closing Date:
May 30th 2006.
