Christopher Evans signs with JJLA 15/05/2006 . Source: Jessica Martin
British science fiction writer Christopher Evans has joined the John Jarrold Literary Agency. Evans was born in South Wales and now lives in South London, where he teaches science part-time at a secondary school.
His first novel, Capella's Golden Eyes, was published in 1980, and since then six more have appeared under his own name, the most recent being Aztec Century, which won the BSFA Award for Best Novel and was runner-up for the Welsh Book of the Year Award, and Mortal Remains. With Robert Holdstock he co-edited the Other Edens series of original SF and fantasy anthologies. He has recently completed a new novel, Omega.
'I've known Chris as a wonderful author and a friend for over twenty years,' said John Jarrold. 'He is more than welcome to the agency!'
