Voyage of Peter Beagle 07/06/2006 . Source: Jessica Martin
Writer Peter S. Beagle, author of the fantasy novel The Last Unicorn, was interviewed on location at Balticon 40 for this month's episode of Fast Forward Contemporary Science Fiction. Beagle's novelette, Two Hearts, is currently nominated for both a Hugo Award and a Locus Award.
In the interview, Beagle and host Mike Zipser discuss Beagle's adventurous formative years, his various books, and his current battle with Granada Media, who he claims has refused to pay Beagle money owed out of profits from the animated film version of The Last Unicorn.
The June episode of Fast Forward also features the musical talents of Peter S. Beagle in a short solo performance of "The Elderly Gentleman's Song".
In this month's media segment Marianne Petrino reviews Hikaru no Go, an anime video series featuring contemporary kids, ghosts, and the game of Go.
